About Amara

I’m a Special Education teacher with three years of experience supporting students in grades 1–8. I graduated from American University and now live in Washington, DC, though I’m originally from New York City. I’m dedicated to helping every learner grow with patience, structure, and individualized support.

About the lesson

I provide individualized, structured tutoring for grades 1–8, using multisensory, differentiated methods. Lessons include warm-ups, modeling, guided practice, and progress checks. I specialize in supporting students with dyslexia, behavior needs, and academic gaps, helping struggling learners build skills and confidence.
