About Jerri
Hi! My name is Jerri (like Tom & Jerry..Lol). I love teaching math using videos and music. I have been teaching for 18 years now. My delight is to make something that looks difficult, easy to understand and do. I can sing very well. In fact, I have albums of my own music on Smule app( look for MathWiz74). Did I mention that I know three languages? Spanish, English, and French.

My lessons are varied and short. I explain using various methods like Pear-deck; document camera; smart board; YouTube; Google Classroom, and Zoom. I show how to solve the problem step by step and include short cuts or alternatives. I allow students to show me they know how by using the computer, paper and pencil, and through paper-pencil tests.
