With over 30 years of classroom teaching experience and 10 years online teaching and tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching English from IGCSE or GCSE to A Level and IB and also prepare students for English as a Foreign Language exams from Cambridge/IELTS/Trinity. I am known for my friendly and approachable teaching style combined with excellent subject knowledge.
My approach to tutoring involves humour and patience along with high academic expectations making lessons both enjoyable and effective. I connect with students by using relatable examples to aid their understanding of complex concepts like essay structuring and literary analysis. My lessons are always based around exam techniques and requirements to ensure students feel fully engaged and thoroughly prepared for their exams.
