About Claire
I am English, although have been learning French since I was 4 years old. I adore La France! I have lived in France for many years, but returned to Bramhall, near Stockport, to raise my 2 young daughters. I teach adults at my home or in your home, and love teaching in a relaxed, unpressurised way. My existing clients enjoy the way that I teach them real every-day French, the kind of French that they need to chat to real French people, not just the kind of French needed to pass an A level!

There is nothing more frustrating than travelling to France and not being able to express yourself or hold conversations with the locals in their native language! I will work hard with you to change that. I use a variety of teaching methods, ranging from role plays, short stories, tutor books, flashcards, fun comprehensions and even the odd tongue twister! I thrive on teaching in a relaxed, unpressurised environment, but we will work hard and I can guarantee you will improve your French language skills very quickly.
