About Meherban
I offer tutoring for high school students (Years 7 to 12) looking to get ahead in English, Literature, Science, or Biology. Lessons are flexible and typically run between 1 to 2.5 hours depending on what works best for the student.
Over the past eight years of tutoring I have learned that building confidence in students starts with feeling supported which is why creating a safe and encouraging environment has been my highest priority. I truly believe that real learning happens when students feel comfortable enough to ask questions, make mistakes and engage without the fear of judgment.
Mastering a subject goes beyond simply completing schoolwork or memorizing formulas and facts for an exam. My goal is to help you look past the pressure of grades, discover genuine interest in what you are learning and build problem-solving skills that last.

Every student is unique in how they absorb, process, and apply new knowledge. Because no two learners are the same, I tailor my teaching techniques to meet the specific needs of each student. Diversity in teaching methodology is so important!
Currently pursuing my Master of Teaching (Secondary), I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from La Trobe University and a Graduate Certificate in Writing and Literature from Deakin University.
