About Kerri
I believe that all students can learn. My first goal is to help the student build confidence by helping them figure out their own strengths and how to use them to meet their academic goals.
I encourage students to think outside of the box and take risks in finding the way that works for them, through topics that are more challenging, instead of being stuck within the construct of "traditional" education methods.

My teaching methods are flexible and individualized. I meet each student where they are and use their individual learning styles to help them make the most progress.
I have experience teaching ELA and writing, Mathematics through Algebra, General Science and Biology, World and US History, Civics and Financial literacy and Spanish 1. I have taught all grade levels from 4th-12th in the public school setting as well as a private day school setting.
