I am a special educator who has been doing lessons for 21 years. I have taught many students over those year. My students have gone from the self-contained setting to gen. ed in a matter of years with the help and the support that I give in the classroom.

I believe in sticking with a concept until the student shows competency, especially in the special education program. My teaching techniques vary greatly and are individualized toward each student's needs. As a tutor my biggest goal is to make the student more confident in their areas of trouble and not to be afraid to ask for help.
