About Maureen
I am a dedicated middle school teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. With years of classroom experience working with a wide range of learners, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills.
I specialize in helping students strengthen their reading, writing, study skills, and overall academic organization. I use clear explanations, step-by-step instruction, and practical strategies that help students truly understand their work and feel more confident in the classroom.
Parents and students can expect professionalism, patience, and consistent communication. I am committed to helping each student make meaningful progress while building the confidence they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

About My Tutoring
I’m a middle school teacher who focuses on helping students build confidence while improving their academic skills. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and structured, breaking challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps so students truly understand what they are learning.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, guided instruction, and practice so students can apply their skills right away. I also help students develop organization, study habits, and strategies that make schoolwork less overwhelming.
I work primarily with upper elementary and middle school students in reading, writing, study skills, and homework support, especially those who benefit from extra guidance and encouragement.
