About Diana
Teaching is my passion! I have been a teacher for about 7 years now. I am a licensed special education teacher and teach children with and without IEP’s, ages 6 to 12. I enjoy teaching math, biology, and writing.

I teach students grades 1 through 7 who struggle with math. I teach through scaffolded instruction; Not just step-by-step, but activating what students already know and building on that knowledge. Examples with visuals and reference sheets are my go-to for student resources. A typical lesson will begin with an objective, a warm up question followed by the new lesson, and end with practice questions.
