About Karissa
I attended and obtained a degree in Special Education and an endorsement in ESL from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I have taught in Wisconsin and Illinois for a total of 5 years in the Special Education setting teaching and assisting in many subject areas. I have a passion to help learners feel confident in learning and their skills throughout an array of subjects. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the best learning/teaching approach to maximize understanding and learning for every student possible. I am looking to extend my love for teaching beyond my school day and help as many students as I can grow their love for learning.
