My number one goal in my tutoring session is to provide a setting where each student is engaged within the lesson and given opportunities to develop self-confidence through productive struggle. I try to act more as a facilitator and let the students learn by doing!

My tutoring sessions are student centered and hands on! A typical lesson is using a variety of modalities with guided practice and feedback. I provide a fun and welcoming environment where every student is valued for their learning style. I have experience with the science of reading and writing in addition to interventions of mathematical concepts and skills.
