I have been a special education teacher for 5 years in Alabama. I have worked with students with all levels of needs and skills. I am motivated to help you reach your goals and I believe that all students have a right to access knowledge and new information. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and I have a true passion for helping students and their families reach their goals!

I believe in the gradual release format of teaching. I will present the content to you and I will show you through explicit modeling how to complete a task. Then, we will collaborate to work towards mastery of the skill. Finally, you will demonstrate mastery by completing the task independently. I believe in trial and error to determine what learning style works best for you.
