I’m a passionate educator with over 15 years of teaching experience, specializing in helping special education and ENL students achieve success in the classroom—especially when it comes to passing the English Regents Exam. My teaching style is structured, efficient, and relentlessly student-centered. I set clear objectives and success criteria, then scaffold tasks so IEP and ENL learners can access rigorous, grade-level work. I use quick checks and student work to adjust grouping, pacing, and supports in real time. My communication is direct and professional, balancing high expectations with practical encouragement and accountability. I integrate evidence-based literacy practices with content-rich units, emphasizing purposeful reading–writing connections and explicit language supports. Class routines are tight, technology is used strategically, and feedback is timely and actionable. Overall, I create a calm, organized environment where students know the plan, feel supported, and are pushed to grow.
