About Jeth

About Me I’m a native English speaker from London with over 10 years of teaching experience. I’ve taught students of all ages and levels, both in groups and one-to-one, and I truly enjoy helping people grow in confidence and fluency. I hold a Master’s degree in Russian and Economics from the University of St Andrews, and I’m currently studying for an MSc in Psychology. I’m also CELTA-certified, which means I’ve been trained in effective, student-focused teaching methods. Beyond academics, I’ve spent many years living and working abroad—in places like Costa Rica, Russia, Thailand, Nepal, and Dubai—which has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures and ways of learning. I’m also a trained yoga teacher and a long-time practitioner of meditation, which helps me bring patience, presence, and a calm, encouraging approach to my teaching. Whether you’re learning English for work, exams, or everyday life, I’d be happy to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My Approach to Teaching I create lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on helping you build real-world English skills and confidence. Whether you're learning for work, study, travel, or personal growth, I’ll adapt the lessons to fit your specific goals and interests. To provide structure, I often use a textbook such as *Face2Face* as a backbone for the course. However, every student is different, so I adapt materials and activities based on your level, learning style, and progress. We’ll work on all key skills—speaking, listening, reading, writing—with a strong focus on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in context. I also offer Business English and exam preparation for IELTS or TOEFL. Lessons usually last 90 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust this to suit your needs. I teach both online and in person in London. I’m CELTA certified and hold an MA in Economics and Russian. With over 10 years’ experience teaching individuals and groups of all ages and levels, I’m confident I can help you achieve your English goals.
