About Fredda
I am a fluent Spanish speaker who was born and raised in a Spanish speaking country therefore it is easier for me to teach this language. I am very patient with kids because it is evident that the information may not always stay with them for the first time and that as a tutor I will have to go through the same vocabulary and exercises with them so they are able to understand it. I ensure that as time goes by the children will get eventually better at their Spanish and will be able to converse in this language.

Since my aim is to make teaching fun for kids I focus on active participation meaning that we will learn vocabulary not only by doing worksheets and flashcards but also by storytelling, playing games, and even watching movies so they familiarize themselves with the Spanish vocabulary. These sessions will take an hour to allow kids not to get bored and for them not to get tired of the material. I used to do an activity called Big Brother Big Sister in my school where we used to help kids with their Spanish and other subjects. These kids always got high marks on their qualifications and eventually understood and spoke Spanish very well. These lessons are aimed towards kids between ages 6-9 who can have some or no level of Spanish.
