About Leslie
"Completing an Artist Diploma in Guitar Performance taught me the value of discipline and long term study. I find that my 13 years of experience as a full time educator inform how I approach Spanish instruction.
Having worked with 476 students, I have seen every common error and confusion point regarding language acquisition. My focus is on delivering clear instruction that avoids unnecessary academic jargon for my learners.
I concentrate on vital areas including exam preparation, travel Spanish, and complex verb conjugation. We also tackle interview preparation, writing skills, role play, and business Spanish. My method stays grounded in the reality of communication needs. It is simply about getting you to speak and understand the language in a meaningful way."

"We begin with a diagnostic level test to identify your current standing before we build the plan. This initial assessment allows me to tailor the pacing to your specific needs while maintaining a steady flow. You will receive direct feedback that highlights your strengths and areas requiring more attention. My degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire instils a structured approach to skill acquisition that I apply to these language sessions.
We practise until the grammar feels automatic. Every session relies on a balance of technical rigour and conversational practice. You might find that these lessons shift your perspective on how a language is constructed. I look forward to helping you navigate the complexities of Spanish."
