About Issy
I am Issy Levers, I graduated from school in 2021. I studied Economics (D1/A*), Spanish (D2/A*) and Religious studies (A*). Next year I will be continuing my studies of Spanish and Philosophy at Bristol university. I spent the last year abroad and taught English for 3 months which is when my passion for teaching began. I am a friendly and easy going person who would love to offer my knowledge. I have a lot of experience with exams and school life so I am very understanding of my students and can give a lot of support, especially in exam taking.

My lessons are tailored to the students wishes and needs. Usually they will be framed by a topic e.g food, travel etc which will involve an interesting and relevant story regarding a spanish speaking country - adapted to the level of the student. We will go through vocabulary and practice either speaking, writing/ reading or listening depending on what the students feels they are lacking practice on. I will come prepared with lots of different materials including videos, articles, games etc. I can also do specific grammar lessons. The typical length of my lessons are an hour. I am very used to creating lessons for students as I volunteered teaching kids English for 3 months during my gap year. I have also completed a level one TEFYL course.
