About Elise
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Communication and Applied Linguistics after developing a strong interest in language learning, international communication, and cultural exchange during my academic studies. During the past 5 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve their Spanish through supportive instruction and practical learning methods. Teaching Spanish allows me to combine creativity, communication, and mentorship in a meaningful and rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners express themselves naturally and confidently in another language.
My teaching style focuses on patience, flexibility, and communication-centred learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to speaking practice and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, confidence, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational confidence. Building a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, international music, and cultural traditions that help me bring fresh ideas into lessons regularly. These experiences help students connect language learning with real-life communication and cultural understanding. I believe learning a language creates confidence, connection, and exciting opportunities for personal growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate comfortably in situations that once felt difficult or unfamiliar.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate comfortably while building strong language foundations through practical and engaging learning experiences. I teach pronunciation, grammar basics, vocabulary development, sentence building, listening comprehension, and conversational fluency using explanations that feel simple and approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include roleplays, storytelling activities, speaking exercises, listening practice, and cultural discussions that help students understand how Spanish is used naturally in daily situations. I create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable participating openly and improving steadily without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports communication skills, confidence, and long-term language growth together.
Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, basic sentence patterns, and everyday vocabulary through organised repetition and interactive activities that build confidence gradually. Intermediate learners strengthen conversational flow, grammar understanding, listening accuracy, and response timing through practical communication exercises and guided discussions. Advanced students focus on smoother fluency, natural expression, and stronger communication skills for travel, work, or academic situations. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and language goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning Spanish should feel useful, enjoyable, and personally rewarding. I encourage students to practise naturally during lessons instead of relying only on memorisation methods. Many learners become more expressive and confident communicators as their language abilities continue improving naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen practical fluency while appreciating the culture and energy connected to the Spanish language.
