About Victoria
As a proud Latina, with parents born and raised in Uruguay, Spanish has been the one skill that has helped me excel at whatever I do. Knowing Spanish has opened doors for me, and I know it can open doors for others as well. I intend to teach those who love learning languages because I understand that it is difficult, time consuming, and unmotivating to learn a language for the first time. But, if you take the learning process as a game, learning becomes easier. As a college student at a competitive college, I know many tricks to learning (not just languages). I am patient and can teach Spanish efficiently and in a fun way. Mistakes are welcome and we can work through them!

Lessons are for any student excited to learn Spanish! I love speaking Spanish because it is a beautiful language that once you learn, you can create the most precious writings you have never read. Some things are often described beautifully in Spanish rather than English. I enjoy writing short stories and poems in Spanish that reflect my daily life.
Lessons are guided by me but driven by the student. I believe that any student who is learning a language needs to be comfortable with making mistakes and trying their best to speak and understand it. Depending on the level of exposure that the student has with Spanish, I enjoy reading a simple story to them and then analyzing it together. I ensure that the student understands the words, how they sound, and also know how it is written.
