About Eve

I am a second year student at the University of Manchester studying the Spanish language alongside Biomedical Sciences. I have a strong history in tutoring, both through assisting Spanish classes in school and through providing one on one tuition to both A level and GCSE students. I am currently tutoring a year 12 student who has just achieved an A* in her speaking exams. I have spent time studying in a language school in Salamanca, and will be moving to Barcelona in September to further improve my language skills.

About the lesson

I consider myself to be a friendly, approachable individual who appreciates that when teaching a language, confidence is the most important skill that must be developed. For this reason my main approach when teaching is to first establish the level of Spanish of the student so that they can grow while still enjoying their classes. I strongly believe that we learn from our mistakes so understand the importance of questions and giving constructive feedback. I also encourage the use of Spanish podcasts and books to my students so that they can expand their comprehension skills while learning about the Spanish culture.

For tutoring at a level below GCSE's, my rates are £13. For GCSE Spanish level my rates are £15. For A-level Spanish my rates are £17.
