About Abbey
I’ve been speaking Spanish since I was very young and have studied advanced Spanish language skills and Hispanic Cultural studies in college. I had the amazing opportunity to live in Spain, where my Spanish skills expanded with the exposure to the ‘vosotros’ pronoun, less frequently used in south and Latin America. My history working with and translating from diverse cultural backgrounds and dialects has given me a unique command over both academic and social uses of the language.

I’ve written about ton of topics in both Spanish and English, so I’ll be already caught up and ready to help you understand your assignments. Teachers can be confusing enough without a language barrier making the rubric even tougher to decipher. I’ve studied psychology and understand how the brain develops, so no matter how tough you or your child’s curriculum, we’ll find out a way to approach the material to make it make sense. I believe learning can be fun, that it should be fun, that genuine interest is the key to success.
