About Axel

In 2010, I completed a Education Teaching Degree at the University of Jaen (Spain). Since then, I have built up experience and knowledge which I use to deliver engaging, educational and progressive sessions with students of all ages and abilities.

As well as tutoring, I am passionate about social-work and I am currently teaching at 'BeyondAutism', supporting children and young people with autism in London.

References are available upon request.

About the lesson

My main objective is to adapt to the aims and needs of each individual student.

For conversation and writing sessions, my methodology focuses on short exercises, revision topics and vocabulary. For those students who want to improve their conversation fluidity, I usually prefer to arrange a topic to discuss before our lesson, in order to debate it during our online or in person conversation.

As a dynamic and flexible tutor, I enjoy learning about the goals of each pupil, and love to find engaging ways to adapt the sessions to meet the needs.

Methodology
I try to create a tailor-made cours for the student, because everyone has different needs. I prefer teaching the grammar by listening some dialogues or by reading stories.
If the lessons is on Skype, I use Google doc, because it allows the student to see in real time what I'm writing and vice-versa.

Experience
I graduated in International relations at the University in Milan. then, I moved to London to work as Aupair.
I've already been a tutor, so I know how to make a lesson interesting. Furthermore, I try to create a tailor-made cours for the student, because everyone has different needs.

Hana

Axel is a fantastic tutor. I have seen him tutor children with special educational needs at work, as well as tutoring myself in Spanish. He is very patient and made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions. Axel believes that the best way to learn Spanish is through an engaging conversation, which he makes fun and entertaining! Axel’s approach makes sessions feel less like tedious Spanish lessons, and more like conversations you’d have with a friend :)
