Spanish Native gives Spanish and English lessons to all levels in a fun, successful way

Cindy is deeply committed to discovering and meeting the individual needs of each student in her care. She builds quick rapport with students and uses the student's interests, current levels of performance, and learning profile to plan and facilitate instruction. She uses a variety of instructional and assessment strategies to activate student thinking towards the concept being learned, to engage the student actively in his/her own learning, and to consistently monitor student growth in understanding. Cindy is creative, enthusiastic, and makes learning a joyful endeavor.

I had the pleasure of supervising Cindy during her student teaching assignment in the Spring of 2017. As a first grade teacher her duties included lesson planning, informally and formally assessing students, grade group meetings, faculty meetings, and contacting parents.

Cindy has shown a true sense of professionalism. Punctuality, sincerity, and dedication were evident in her daily work. She also showed an energetic attitude and maintained a professional appearance and manner. Throughout her experience, Cindy's lessons continued to be well thought out and showed a wide variety of child centered activities to meet the needs of different learning styles within the classroom. Her lessons demonstrated confidence in her ability to have all students be successful learners and participants. Her kind and gentle way provided a safe environment for all to learn. The classroom climate was warm, friendly, and showed a sincere understanding of each students’ ability level.

Therefore, it is without hesitation, and in my personal opinion, that Cindy will be an outstanding addition to any school faculty. She has the dedication and knowledge to be a successful teacher and will have much to offer the teaching profession, I would be honored to have Cindy as a colleague.
