About Lyra
I have 3 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Intercultural Studies. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with learners who wanted to improve communication skills and gain greater confidence using Spanish. Supporting students as they progress remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
My teaching philosophy centers on interaction, clarity, and encouragement. I believe students learn best when they actively use the language and feel comfortable making mistakes during the learning process. Every lesson is designed to support steady improvement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy learning about Hispanic traditions, reading Spanish-language texts, and exploring language-learning techniques. These interests help me bring authentic cultural context into lessons. I am passionate about helping students achieve success in Spanish.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally while building a strong understanding of the language. We focus on grammar essentials, verb conjugations, pronunciation improvement, vocabulary expansion, listening skills, sentence construction, and conversational practice. Every lesson encourages active participation and practical language use.
Students engage in speaking exercises, reading activities, listening tasks, vocabulary development exercises, cultural discussions, and communication challenges. I explain concepts step by step so learners can understand them clearly and apply them with confidence. Lessons are tailored to match individual learning goals.
I enjoy helping students become more comfortable expressing themselves in Spanish. Through regular practice and supportive guidance, learners improve fluency while gaining confidence in everyday communication. My goal is to create lessons that are practical, engaging, and enjoyable.
