About Phoebe

My interest in Spanish began when I first encountered Spanish literature and cultural traditions during my university studies. I became fascinated by how language connects people and reflects the culture of different communities. This curiosity encouraged me to continue studying the language and complete a Master’s Degree in Spanish Language Studies.

During the past 9 years, I have helped students improve their Spanish speaking and comprehension abilities. Some learners study Spanish for travel or academic purposes, while others simply enjoy learning a new language. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and regular conversation practice.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Spanish books, listening to Spanish music, and learning about traditions from Spanish-speaking countries. These experiences help me stay connected to the language and bring authentic examples into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence when communicating in Spanish is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching work.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students feel comfortable using the language in daily conversations. Beginners begin by learning pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and simple sentence structures. I introduce useful phrases for greetings, introductions, and everyday communication. Listening activities help students understand how Spanish sounds in natural conversations. These early lessons help learners become familiar with the rhythm of the language while building confidence in speaking.

As students improve, lessons include reading practice, guided conversations, and writing exercises. I explain grammar topics such as verb conjugation, sentence formation, and common expressions using simple examples. Students practice describing their experiences, asking questions, and sharing opinions in Spanish. These activities help learners expand their vocabulary and develop stronger communication skills.

Language learning requires patience and regular effort. I encourage students to participate actively during lessons and practice speaking without worrying about mistakes. Mistakes are treated as a natural part of learning. Over time, students develop clearer pronunciation and stronger fluency when communicating in Spanish.
