About Juan Carlos
I have proved experience teaching Spanish in academies in various countries, such as Uruguay and Croatia, and as freelance teacher (on-line and face to face). I have taught university, secondary and elementary school students from a wide range of nationalities.
I consider myself a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher, as well as an excellent communicator. Additionally, I am willing to provide enriched learning for my students while making a significant contribution to their language skills.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Alcalá (Madrid), as well as a Master´s Degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language from this same university.
I am specialized in Action-Based Learning and Integrated Learning approaches, which enable me to foster students’ curiosity and love for the Spanish language and culture through the use of cultural contents.
I always try to find out more about my students´ interests/goals in order to create more engaging , funny and well oriented lessons with tailored materials.
