About Alba

My name is Alba. I am originally from Spain and moved to London 5 years ago. I studied a degree in Teaching and started teaching Spanish a few years ago. I knew how much I love teaching, but it was here in London, when I was working as a Spanish teacher, that I realized how much I love teaching MY LANGUAGE.

I started learning English at school and have never stopped learning it since. I really enjoy speaking another language since it is an experience that has changed my entire life, my way of thinking and my way of understanding the world. That's why I love what I do and that's why I want to share this passion for speaking another language. language with you.

About the lesson

When I teach Spanish to my students I always try to bring them first-hand about the language and culture.

Grammar plays an important role during lessons as it is essential to understand the language and know how to use it correctly.

I teach European Spanish, however I like to contemplate in my lessons the diversity of the language in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.

The duration of a lesson is 1 hour.

I am a qualified native teacher from Spain. I have worked as a Spanish teacher in London for over 4 years in different educational settings such as primary schools and language schools.

My lessons are aimed at all levels and ages, they are based on the practice of the 4 language skills (speaking, reading, writing and listening). After each lesson, you will be assigned homework to practice the lesson content and continue progressing on your Spanish journey.
