About Pedro Alejandro
I was born and raised in Granada, birthplace of flamenco, experienced and self-taught. I have been learning and performing flamenco guitar since I was around 10 years old. Back then, the sunny, loud and artistic streets of Granada were the only place where you could learn some flamenco through friends, family and the occasional local band teachers, then the internet came and it changed it all.
I started teaching when I landed in England 8 years ago. Back then I was just teaching the Spanish language. I loved every bit of teaching something to someone who has never experienced or tried before, something that is as natural to me as breathing. I ended up learning more than my own students!! Then I decided to combine the two things I can do best, teaching and flamenco, and that's why I am here today for you.

I will take you on a journey where you will be introduced to the world of flamenco, all the way until you master it. You will learn the most popular phrases, cadences, scales, techniques, strumming patterns, and branches (bulerías, fandangos, rumbas) that make this musical genre so unique. You will enjoy every lesson, and we will put your progress into practice to make sure you fully understand everything this magical and passionate type of music has to offer.

Pedro is an outstanding flamenco guitar teacher. His playing is incredible, and he's just as talented at teaching as he is at performing. He's patient, encouraging, and explains techniques in a way that's easy to understand.
Every lesson is enjoyable and I've made great progress since learning with him. I couldn't recommend Pedro more highly to anyone wanting to learn flamenco guitar.
Pedro has given me lessons on how to learn cajon, learning the understanding of beats and rhythm. I thought I was good before but I’m definitely much better now
