About Krishna

I am an actual certified educator, with different endorsements and professional development hours. I have taken Spanish classes for native speakers at a university level, which is where I learned a lot about the differences between functional and academic language. I can teach you how to speak it, read it, and write it. I like to focus a lot on phonetics in order to make your speech as smooth as possible and intelligible.

About the lesson

I am going to teach you functional Spanish. Typically, Spanish classes focus on a lot of vocabulary and "basics" but not how to actually communicate in the real world. Plus, they don't teach you that there is a difference between functional language/colloquial language vs. technical/academic language. We need to be realistic, unless you plan to dedicate an insane amount of time and effort into learning another language because you plan to pursue a career in it, a lot of the speech you would learn in an academic setting will probably never serve a true purpose.
