About Ana
I am a responsible professional that decided to build an international career, since making a bold decision to move from my home city Valencia to London in 2014. Before I left Valencia, I studied at University degree in Childhood Education. Since moving to the UK, I have been working as an au pair, Nursery Assistant, Spanish tutor and as a Teaching Assistant. Having discovered my passion for languages, I am currently volunteering as a translator from English to Spanish for different NGOs.

As a skilled and passionate teacher with significant experience developing Spanish as a foreign language while maintaining a firm focused on taking into account student's interests to keep them engaged in their learning. My ability to identify students learning styles and take this benefit for imparting language skills has always been my strongest strength in this profession. My specialty also includes supporting students in the development of self-confidence and positive self-image by encouraging a supportive and empathetic environment for each student. My practice of designing and using a diversity of instructional materials and methods in the classroom and proficiency in incorporating technology in my lessons, has always been highly valued by my employers and students. Through my experience, I have developed skills in planning, supervising and realizing lessons. I possess the strong ability in evaluating and enhancing student's progress in comprehension, speaking, reading and writing in Spanish using appropriate strategies for the respective levels being taught.
