About María Elizabeth
I am Argentinian. I am a qualified teacher with more than ten years of experience.
As a writer, I have published several books and texts in Spanish (poetry, plays, short stories, among other genres).
I love arts, languages, culture and travel. I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Argentina, as well as to several Latin American countries and different regions of Spain (where my family roots are), which has also allowed me to be in contact with different forms of expression of the Spanish language.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:
I am a university professor graduated in Argentina as "Profesora en Letras" and as "Licenciada en Letras"*, studies that train in teaching and research on the Spanish language and international literatures. Having also obtained the highest average of my university, I know in depth the grammatical and linguistic functioning of the Spanish language, in addition to the fact that Spanish is my mother tongue.
* For this diploma I have a certificate of comparability from the ENIC-NARIC France Center (France Education International - Ministry of National Education), corresponding to a "Master" level in the National Framework of Professional Certifications and in the European Framework of Certifications (300 ECTS) (Bac + 5).
EXPERIENCE :
I have more than 10 years of teaching experience as a university professor of different subjects in the field of "Letras" (Spanish language and various literatures) and as a private teacher, both in person and online.

The courses are 100% in Spanish with the aim of achieving oral fluency. We can use other languages - English and French - but only to clarify some words or expressions.
It is aimed at people who already have a high level of Spanish (equivalent to B2, C1 and C2).
We will take into account the different variations of Spanish usage, whether it is Spanish spoken in Spain or in Latin America, particularly in Argentina.
During a first meeting (free) we will define what your objectives are:
-Do you want to travel to Spain, to Argentina or other Latin American countries?
-Do you live in a Spanish-speaking country and want to improve your conversation level?
-Have you learned Spanish in the past but you don't have the opportunity to practice it to maintain or improve your language level?
-Are you interested in Spanish-speaking countries and want to know more about their cultures?
-Do you want to read texts in Spanish that require some understanding of oral communication?
-Other reasons?
From there, we will coordinate a schedule where I can provide you with content designed to your needs.
Our conversation practices will start from readings on various topics, videos, movies, music, artworks, news and other materials. And of course, you can also suggest the topics that interest you the most.
The idea is not only to practice and improve spoken Spanish but also to have fun and have a good time talking about topics that we like.
Classes will take place via the Google Meet platform.
