About Kaylah
Hi! I'm Miss Kaylah.
I currently attend college at Florida SouthWestern State College. During my high school career, I maintained a 4.2 GPA and graduated with Highest Honors. I absolutely attribute those successes to my reading and writing skills, as they provided me with the tools I needed to get ahead academically. Reading comprehension is a very important part of navigating through school and life, and attaining this skill can get you to where you want to be. Whether that be with your grades, test scores, or even social settings!

To better serve my students, I like to foster a collaborative environment during lessons. I prefer to teach text analysis and review what is expected of their grade level, as well as any current homework they may be receiving. Comprehending lengthy passages can be tough for students, I find that revisiting the topics and introducing the importance of thorough questioning and analysis helps ease the struggle through later lessons and during class time. I aim to provide a safe and encouraging environment where learners build confidence in their academic abilities and are motivated to improve their grades and test scores!
