About Aedín
I am a piano teacher with over 10 years' experience teaching children, adults, beginners and advanced students. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in Music in 2011, and then from the University of Bristol with an MA in Composition. Alongside my main studies, I achieved a distinction in my DipLCM in piano performance from the London College of Music, and have enjoyed performing in low-key settings alongside my teaching work.
I really enjoy seeing students get the most out of their lessons and am keen to ensure they get the opportunity to lead or suggest what they would like to learn should they wish

My lessons are student-focused, with the main goal being that the student enjoys piano and wants to improve. I can tailor lessons towards technique, expression, improvisation, sight-reading or anything that students want to learn. I like to incorporate listening into the lessons, and to allow students to discover what they most enjoy listening to and playing, while continuously improving technique and confidence.
