About Arian

Hi! My name is Arian and I am an Engineer from Kenley in South Croydon. Ever since school, I have been fascinated by safeguarding the environment and wanted to combine my interest in science with a job that could see me making a real impact. That is why I studied Chemical Engineering at university in the hopes to transition our non-renewable dependency to a cleaner, greener energy landscape. Now, I work at the largest gas distribution company in the UK, developing policies that will redevelop our gas pipelines to hydrogen ones. When I am not at my desk, I enjoy swimming, gymming and guitar. I speak Farsi very well and French very badly. I also love to travel and hope to go South America soon! As someone who was once struggling at school, I understand full well how extra support can make a difference, especially when faced with a volley of upcoming GCSE exams. I only recently left secondary school, and so I deeply understand the pressure you are facing. Allow me to support you as I was supported 7 years ago.

About the lesson

In every collaboration, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each other is of great importance. I will first scan the specification of my student's subject on the exam board online, and test him or her on what areas are weakest and strongest. Reciprocally I will offer a safe and supportive environment in which they can offer advice to me to better suit their learning technique. As a result, the road from our first lesson to the completion of the academic year will see me tailor to them as a tutor, and them tailor to the necessities of the assessments. The length of a lesson is their choice, although I advise any lesson between 2 and 3 hours include a break in the middle. I have tutored twice before, once when studying A-Levels where I taught a local boy GCSE Mathematics and another time at university, where I taught a girl GCSE Chemistry online. They both achieved greater than their target marks. As well as this, I myself achieved 3 As in A-Level Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. I teach up to GCSE level.
