About Kayla
I am a South African teacher who has been teaching since 2017. My experience includes teaching in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and now the UAE, where I have been for nearly two years. Teaching in different countries has allowed me to work with diverse learners and understand a range of curricula and learning needs.
I am passionate about helping children build strong foundations in their learning and grow in confidence. I enjoy creating lessons that are clear, engaging and supportive so that every student feels capable of succeeding. Teaching is rewarding for me because I enjoy seeing students progress, overcome challenges and develop a genuine love for learning.

My lessons are designed for primary school learners and focus on Maths, English and Science. Sessions are structured, engaging and aligned with the British curriculum, while also being easily adapted for students in American curriculum schools. Lessons focus on strengthening core skills, improving understanding and building confidence in learning. I use clear explanations, guided practice and targeted activities to support each child at their individual level. Support can include homework help, exam preparation, revision of key concepts and extension for higher-ability learners, ensuring steady progress and a positive learning experience.
