About Caren

My passion is teaching young learners how to speak English . I take great pride in all my students and am overjoyed when i see progress in the learner. My experience teaching pre school learners is over ten years.
Primarily, teachers will impart knowledge to their students to help them learn new things about a specific group of subjects. I have found new ways of supporting my students' learning styles and are mindful that students, especially young people, will learn at a different pace and speed to their peers.Teaching is the best job. I enjoy every bit of my job. It has its ups and downs but on the whole it's fulfilling when i help youngsters to leave school with decent grades and know they have a future.
I love teaching. I revel in sharing learning with students who want to learn. Learning is definately not an " uncool thing" when i teach . I feel fulfilled and the student feels the same . That is my declaration.

About the lesson

My choice of teaching methodology is based on a little bit of educational philosophy and my teaching mission statement.It is a very interactive /participative method. I adjust my methods and strategies in response to my students' ability to learn the material being presented. I encourage creative and design thinking which forces the student to tap into their inner most thoughts. I teach the student that attitude determines altitude therefore it is important to enjoy and accept the lesson being taught.Why do a thing if you will not be known for it? This statement is apt for the teaching profession. In order to be known as a good teacher, you must be effective. Effectiveness in the teaching profession, especially in the primary school level is undoubtedly the foundation for the pupils who are the future of the future leaders of the nation, and the world. This paper enumerates, among other things, the requirements and attributes for effective teaching. It emphasized that qualitative teaching and teaching methodology could be achieved through: the knowledge of subject matter that one teaches; knowledge of human development and learning; adopting instructional materials/improvisioning; multiple/innovative instructional strategies; classroom motivation and management; communication skills; instruction planning skills (lesson plan/notes); assessment of pupils’/students’ learning; professional commitment and responsibility; and enlisting of the co-operation of pupils and parents.
