About Spyridon
I have a B.A. in Archaeology and History, an M.A. in Archaeology and History of Art, with specialization in the ancient world, a second M.A. in History and Philosophy of Religions, with specialization in ancient religions.
I speak ancient Greek, Latin and Coptic, and I am trained in archaeology, in history of art and architecture, as well as in the study of ancient inscriptions, ancient papyri and ancient coins, which I always use to explain ancient myths or history.

The tutorial is broadly based on using primary and secondary sources on any topic related to ancient Greek and/or Roman culture (art - literature - theatre - sciences - philosophy).
I am specialized in the ancient Greek and Roman world, but the class material can also include the Mesopotamian and/or the Egyptian civilization, or even take a comparative approach of these ancient cultures.
However, if the students wish to be profoundly guided through the ancient world, we can follow through the entire ancient Greek and/or Roman culture, from A to Z.
The tutorial can also be offered in modern Greek.
