About Daisie
I’m Daisie, a pianist and conductor with a passion for collaboration and teaching. I’ve been lucky enough to perform at venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Barbican, and I’ve worked with some incredible musicians along the way.
Teaching has always been close to my heart. I’ve taught students of all ages, from little ones starting out to advanced players preparing for conservatoire auditions. I’ve worked privately and with schools like Side by Side Arts and Masters Music School, including teaching special needs students, which has been especially rewarding.
I love teaching because it lets me share the joy of music and watch students grow in confidence and skill. Every student brings something different to the table, and helping them find their musical voice is the best part. For me, continuing to teach is all about inspiring others and staying connected to the heart of what I love—making music together.

With extensive experience teaching students aged 3-18+, from beginner to post-diploma level, my approach to piano instruction is rooted in a blend of technical precision, musical expression, and individualised attention. I tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on building a strong foundation in technique while nurturing creativity and confidence in performance.
In my teaching, I draw on my classical training, incorporating methods that promote finger dexterity, sound production, and sight-reading skills. I place a strong emphasis on fostering a deep understanding of musicality and interpretation, encouraging students to explore the emotional depth of the pieces they play. Whether working with young beginners or advanced students, I ensure that each lesson is structured to inspire growth, patience, and passion for music.
My teaching experience spans private lessons and work at institutions like Side by Side Arts and The Masters Music School, where I taught students across various age groups and abilities, including those with special needs. I also have experience preparing students from initial grades to conservatoire-level auditions, diplomas, and competitions, guiding them through repertoire and helping them hone their performance skills.
