About Sam
I’m a student at SIUC. Throughout my high school career I often struggled to find passion in education. Since coming to university, I have found the value in tutoring. I personally used a tutor for one of my psychology classes, she taught me that there is no shame in asking for help. Everybody needs help at some point in their life, and I have the ability to come to their aid in this case. I believe it is my mission to help students be the best they can be. From 2+2 to quadratic equations, my help is in mathematics. Together we will make learning fun and interesting. I find that any material is easier to understand when you have guidance on how to approach them! As well as a few laughs here and there. Thank you for your time and I hope we will work together very soon!!

I love helping people. My job is to help you learn material that you haven’t quite mastered. I take a fun light hearted approach to learning. I don’t believe in forcing something, as that just leads to frustration. I will work with the students to create a goal plan on how to approach the subject. I don’t personally have an agenda so while we work towards deadlines, the progression is up to the student. There is no shame in asking for help!!
