About Rosemary
I am a sophomore in college studying agricultural and biological engineering. Eventually, I hope to work on environmental engineering related projects concerning the improvement of ecosystem management and reducing the harmful effects of pollutants in the environment. As an aspiring engineer, my favorite subjects to teach are math and science. I make a policy to communicate effectively with students and/or their parents so they get the most out of our sessions and we are able to work out a schedule that works for everyone.

I've worked as a tutor for middle school through high school students for over a year now and my favorite part about helping students learn math and science concepts is teaching them how these different concepts interconnect and later helping them to develop critical thinking skills to work through difficult material. I typically spend part of the first session with a new student getting an idea of what type of content they need the most help with. Students usually want help with homework problems from class or have specific questions, so I spend most of the time working to help them be self sufficient in solving the problems they find most difficult through my own explanation and supplementary practice material.
