I want to teach so that I can pass on the knowledge that I have gained through school, sixth form and university to the next generation of aspiring scientists. I want to help young people to achieve their academic goals in order to open doors to many opportunities later in life.

My lessons are tailored to individual student needs, focusing primarily on the areas of the curriculum they struggle with. My lessons are 30 minutes or one hour in length, depending on the topic, which will be requested in advance by the student. I will provide an overview of the topic area at the beginning of the lesson, providing some short questions to ensure understanding, and will then hone in on the specific aspect of the topic that requires improvement. I will happily review class work completed by the student and talk through homework activities, as well as going through any exam papers in detail that the student has completed in school or as revision, should this be requested. I teach all levels and age groups up to GCSE.
