About Collette
Lyric writing and motif development are the bedrock of my practice. Good songs often hide in plain sight until you strip away the excess. I hold an MA in Songwriting from Bath Spa University.
My 6 years of coaching students and releasing original music inform my process. I work primarily with working musicians, teens, and intermediate producers. You will find me detail-oriented and calm during our sessions. My approach focuses on practical application rather than abstract theory.
I help you build a repeatable process for your own creative work. We explore genre conventions across pop, folk, and R&B styles. Harmony basics and song structure remain the heart of my teaching. You can expect a supportive environment that prioritises your artistic growth.

You deserve a session that leaves you with a finished demo or a written verse. We focus on getting music on paper or into a recording file immediately.
My 6 years of experience ensure we move efficiently through your creative blocks. I keep the process grounded and focused on your specific musical goals. Do you have a song idea waiting to be completed?
