About Vanessa
Many players hit a wall when trying to connect their rhythm guitar to soloing. Imagine playing a fluid melody while the bass notes ring clearly underneath your fingers.
I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home. This keeps the work focused even when we are not in the studio. My 9 years of experience help me clear up confusion about fingerpicking or barre chords.

I teach strumming patterns, acoustic technique, and complex chord transitions. My approach is practical and rooted in my 13 years gigging around Montreal. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music which provides the foundation for my structure.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or a returning player, we find the right path for you. I enjoy working with performance-focused students who want to develop their own songs. Seeing students grow in confidence during our sessions remains the best part of the work.
