About Shannon
I am a software engineering student currently studying my HND. I have about three years experience of programming and about a year's experience in geology. I'm offering lessons in computer science as well as maths and geography. In my course, I also study computer networks (Cisco CCNA) and Cybersecurity. I give lessons to the level of Higher or A Levels but am happy to help study for vendor certifications or uni classes as well.
As an introduction, I'd ask the student what they're not completely grasping and focus on those areas at first, using spaced repetition and active recall to study other topics so they're not forgotten about. These are techniques I used when studying myself and managed to achieve good grades. I'll also help make any study materials or more comprehensive notes as this was something I struggled with myself at school.
