About Greg
My passion for programming began when I discovered that logical thinking could become something real and useful through software. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Computer Engineering and later an M.Sc in Information Technology, where I gained deeper insight into both practical development and computational systems. Over the past 10 years, I have helped students progress from uncertainty to confidence through supportive and structured teaching.
I believe strong programming skills come from understanding concepts, not copying solutions. My teaching style emphasises clarity, problem-solving habits, and steady practice, allowing students to grow at a comfortable pace while still feeling challenged and motivated.
Beyond tutoring, I stay connected to programming through continuous learning, exploring emerging technologies, and working on personal coding projects. Teaching is deeply fulfilling because I witness students transform into independent thinkers who can build, create, and solve problems confidently in the digital world.

Programming is most rewarding when students realise it is not about memorising syntax, but about learning how to think clearly and solve problems step by step. My lessons are designed to make coding approachable, structured, and creative, guiding learners through Python fundamentals, algorithmic reasoning, data structures, and real-world software logic. I focus on helping students understand how small pieces of code connect into powerful solutions.
Each session is shaped around the learner’s goals and comfort level. Beginners build confidence through simple exercises, interactive practice, and calm explanation of core concepts like loops, functions, and conditions. Intermediate learners strengthen their skills through debugging strategies, modular design, and project-based learning. Advanced students explore optimisation, object-oriented programming, system design, and interview preparation with deeper analytical focus.
Programming lessons also develop resilience and independent thinking. Students learn to approach challenges with patience, curiosity, and structured reasoning. My goal is to support every learner in becoming confident, capable, and excited about creating meaningful technology through code.
