About Tejas

I’ve been living in Canada for over 6 years, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in IT from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver, BC. I’m passionate about continuous learning and upskilling in software development, coding every day to keep improving and staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends.

Experience:
Currently, I’m working as a full-stack developer, where I use HTML, CSS, Shopify, PHP, Python, React, Node.js, and SQL in my day-to-day work. I’ve also had the opportunity to take interviews to hire software developers in my current role, which has given me insight into what employers look for in candidates.

I’m excited to share my knowledge with you, whether you’re just starting or looking to advance your skills. I’ll help you prepare for coding interviews and get you ready for the software job market.

About the lesson

As a passionate software developer and tutor, I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching concepts from the roots. I put myself in my students' shoes to explain topics in a way that’s easy to understand and ensure I have the patience to guide them through challenges.

Teaching Methodology: I believe in a hands-on, practical approach. By using real-world examples and encouraging active participation, I help students connect theory to practice.

Typical Lesson Plan (1 Hour):

Introduction (5 mins): Overview of the topic and its relevance.
Concept Explanation (30 mins): Step-by-step teaching with relatable examples.
Hands-on Practice (25 mins): Coding exercises to apply the knowledge you have learned.
