About Tonya

Over the years, I’ve worked on real-world projects where I’ve had to debug complex issues, build features from scratch, and translate business ideas into working software. I understand what it feels like to get stuck, confused, or overwhelmed — especially when learning on your own.

That’s why I started mentoring.

I enjoy helping beginners and junior developers bridge the gap between “tutorial knowledge” and actually being able to build and fix real applications confidently.

My focus is simple: make things understandable and practical. I won’t just tell you what to do — I’ll help you understand why it works, so you can do it on your own next time.

Outside of coding, I enjoy creative work and building things from scratch, which is also how I approach teaching — hands-on, practical, and problem-solving focused.

I’m a software developer with 3+ years of professional experience helping beginners and junior developers understand how to actually build and debug real applications.

My lessons are practical, not theoretical. We focus on what you’re currently stuck on and turn it into working code step by step.
