About Mike
I am a linguistics and literature graduate with experience in politics, business analysis, technical training and a love of language and assisting my clients upskill themselves and achieve levels they set for themselves.
I am fairly creative and enjoy shaping my courses around your needs and generally don't rely on a set of ready-made lessons but enjoy doing this in collaboration with you to ensure my lessons are targeted accurately.
I have some great success stories, such as taking an adult, second language student from absolute beginner to the stage where he has been accepted into postgraduate studies at university level.

For professionals I encourage using authentic material from the work environment such as legal or business proposals, Operating procedures, meeting and public speaking preparation and training as well as Business writing such as Emails and other related written pieces.
I have worked with developers and business owners alike and enjoy interacting with students around their own interests and language requirements.
I make sure the client has something solid, in the form of personalised learning materials, to take away from the courses.
