About Soumili
I am a social science student. When I will graduate and start working, I will still be a social sciences student. When I am teaching you, I will still be a student. The dynamic nature of humans, human interactions, and the society around us allow us to constantly re-evaluate and learn something new than what we already think we know.
Other than that, I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Economics, and Psychology) and am about to complete my Master's in Development Studies, both from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I am interested in understanding urban development, gender and sexuality, inequality, and identities from an intersectional lens. If you are interested in learning what these terms exactly mean, join my classes, what are you waiting for?! I'm also a Gen-Z who is tired of having to deal with the same old boring and unproductive rote learning method, so my classes will actively try to shift between information sharing and discussions.

If you have come here expecting a typical classroom setup with proper hierarchies between the teacher and the student, I would like you to reconsider. While basic human decency is expected, we will learn by deconstructing what we know, understanding them, and then piecing everything back together. We will understand how a person becomes and acts as a subject, a social animal, and even an individual. Perhaps the best part, you will unlearn how you view the world, and relearn how to view it from your own, unique point of view.
