About Cristina
Good dads and / or moms! My name is Cristina and I am a Social Educator. I also have a master's degree. I consider myself a responsible, decisive and extroverted person. I have knowledge at the elementary and secondary level of almost all subjects. I know many games to make learning a pleasure and not an obligation. With regard to my experience, I have worked as a Social Educator in two institutes, but I have also helped the students in the subjects they needed, so teaching is not new to me. Furthermore, after this experience and being a Social Educator, I not only have notions of academic educational teaching but I can also attend to different elements such as social skills, conflict resolution, mediation, STUDY TECHNIQUES, etc. Also for the master's degree I have also taught at another institute. I have also volunteered with people with physical and intellectual disabilities, so I know how to face some situations if the child has some functional diversity. Also my English level is a B2, so I could help in this language as well. I have my own vehicle and full availability of time and mobility. Personally I think that the expository part of the teaching is important, if the minor does not understand something, it must be explained carefully. However, to reinforce this part, the practice is also necessary: exercises, games, dynamics, reflections, diagrams, conceptual maps, etc. Adjusting everything to the age and circumstance of the plaintiff. I like to invoke reflection to foster a critical awareness and self-learning, very significant aspects for adult life. As I said in the previous description I like to make learning a pleasure and not an obligation.
